At Paris Fashion Week, it is always the runway collections that make the headlines, but those who go to see them are just as stylish and noteworthy. At the Dior Spring ’14 show, Olivia Palermo showed up wearing the honorary designer’s pieces head-to-toe. But instead of stealing an outfit straight off the runway, Miss Palermo managed to create a look that is both original and chic. Her houndstooth bustier top is expertly tailored, fitting her petite frame perfectly. Pairing this piece with an orange and black lace print skirt is what made this outfit pop. Though the prints on both pieces would seemingly clash, the fact that they are both black and white solves the problem and makes the outfit work. To top it off, Palermo went with a fitted blazer in a flattering shade of orange. The cut of the blazer, even when open, nips in at the waist to further define her petite figure. Besides making hordes of Cuse girls swoon over it, that bold orange jacket ensured that Palermo stood out amongst the rest of the show-goers. Finally, Palermo tied her look together with accessories by repeating the black and white palette with a large clutch and a pointed toe heel. Since not everyone can get their hands on these amazing Dior pieces, below are some similar items to splurge on!
